Dispute Resolution

Our dispute resolution and litigation team have a wealth of experience in advising on a wide range of disputes. Whether you have an outstanding invoice or need assistance with a more complex dispute, our team can provide practical and comprehensive legal advice.

We act for many individuals and businesses who benefit from our clear thinking and strategic planning to take the correct path in each claim or defence. We seek to ensure a route that is the most cost effective and therefore it invariably leads to a resolution through means other than the Court process. However, when necessary a member of our team will appear in the Petty Debts Court or Royal Court to robustly progress or defend a claim.

Our team at Benest & Syvret can assist you with, among other things:-

  1. Debt recovery.
  2. Service of process and reciprocal enforcement of judgments.
  3. Advising on commencing Court proceedings including the costs of litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
  4. Attending mediation and arbitration.
  5. Attending initial and interim Court hearings.
  6. Injunctions.
  7. Discovery.
  8. Advising on, preparing for and attending trial.
  9. Striking out and setting aside judgments.
