Advocate Darry Robinson has been made a Partner, effective from 1st January 2023, having joined the firm in August 2018. Darry is an experienced litigator dealing with a broad range of matters both criminal and civil. His practice includes criminal defence work, Children Panel appointments, personal injury and medical negligence claims.

Benest & Syvret are also pleased to announce that Advocate Greg Herold-Howes has joined the firm’s dispute resolution team. Greg will work alongside Nina Benest and Darry Robinson to develop the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution services. Greg has a particular interest in planning matters, having successfully represented an appellant in a decade long dispute involving multiple third-party planning appeals. He has a detailed knowledge of the policies of the Island Plan and can advise in respect of proposed development or following a planning decision.
